Bringing her clean, modern, sophisticated, and occasionally fun designs, Jennifer always maintains an ego-free, collaborative, and stress-free approach. Acknowledged by the International Design Awards and GDUSA Magazine, Jennifer’s Survival By Design greeting card line debuted as a “Best of the New” at the National Stationery Show. She has gone on to sell $750,000 worth of greeting cards as an independent licensed artist in major retail stores like Target, Whole Foods, and Wal-Mart. Jennifer holds a BA in Philosophy from Brandeis University and a professional certificate in Advertising & Print Design from Rhode Island School of Design. Her career has spanned roles such as Director of Communications for several nonprofits, where she has managed branding, communications, and numerous projects. Jennifer enjoys dance classes, road trips with her family, and binge-watching smart, wry content.
With more than 25 years in the field, Elissa has designed for numerous arts, cultural and educational institutions, for specialty food, beverage and spirits packaging, all aspects of the retail environment, and more. Elissa’s work has been recognized by such esteemed institutions as GDUSA and the Specialty Food Association. Elissa shares her experience with younger designers as a guest speaker, creating course curricula, as a mentor, and as an adjunct professor at several colleges and universities in New England. Additionally, Elissa served as a board member for the AIGA. Elissa has a BA in Studio Art from the University of New Hampshire, an MFA in Graphic Design from Boston University, a certificate in Public Relations from New York University, and has continued to pursue advanced studies at SACI Florence, Italy, The Art Students League in New York City, and beyond.
